Celebrate the Million Dollar Productions Five, an African American basketball team organized in 1938 to represent Million Dollar Productions, Inc., a Black-owned motion picture studio in Hollywood founded and run by the popular and charismatic actor, dancer, orchestra leader, promotor, producer, and entertainment impresario Ralph Cooper. 

Cooper was a true pioneer and visionary. His was the architect behind connecting Harlem's entertainment world with the West Coast studio ecosystem, which helped Black Hollywood evolve into its golden era.
