The vintage graphic from a program promoting the Renaissance Ballroom in Harlem on a long-sleeve tee shirt with Physical Culture Supply Co. private label, part of the Black Fives collection of African American basketball teams. Nicknamed "The Aristocrat of Harlem" for its stateliness, luxury, and grace, the venue was the home court of the New York Rens, the first Black-owned, all-Black, fully professional basketball team in history.
